Weekend Update {I hope you like pics}

What a weekend!! Andrew was pretty busy with school stuff because he has 2 tests this week but he was able to spend a little time with the fam while they were in town.

FRIDAY
My parents came in town with Audrey around 9:00 Friday night. Hadley's normal bedtime is around 8:00, but she was so excited about seeing Audrey we let her stay up. They had so much fun and actually ended up being up till almost 11.

Late night tea party!
Dance party with Hadley's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse bike.

SATURDAY
We got up early enough for Andrew to eat breakfast with us at Tally's and boy was it worth it. The girls shared pancakes, mom and I got french toast and Andrew and dad both got omelets. After breakfast Andrew headed to school and the rest of us hung out at the house.

Couch JumpJump
After nap we got the girls ready for dinner, where we were meeting Jolene and Ryan so they could pick up Audrey.

Pretty cute, huh?!

Hadley crying . . . Audrey smiling

Poor, Audrey. . . I mean Princess Aurora she was so sad.
(Audrey crying on the floor like Princess Aurora when she found out she couldn't be with Prince Phillip.)

Hadley/Fairy Godmother helping Cinderella/Audrey.

SUNDAY
We made it to early service Sunday, which is rare in this house, but it makes for a long day which is nice. After church and lunch mom and I braved the JBF sale and got some cute things.

Before heading out on our adventure.
Mom and dad left shortly after JBF and we just hung out for the rest of the day watching, you guessed it, the OSCARS!!!

MONDAY
Today I met a couple girlfriends at JBF, yes again, because they were supposed to be bringing out some new stuff. I found a couple outfits, but really spent most of my time running around after Hadley.

The compilation of today and yesterday's purchases.
Some cutesy dresses.
And a SIT -n- SPIN!!

After JBF we met our play group for a fun time at Color Me Mine. Unfortunately when we got there they were running behind and weren't open yet. But then we realized maybe "unfortunate" wasn't the right word because there was in fact a Marble Slab that was open. While we patiently waited for CMM to open we munched on some yummy ice cream.

Apryl and her sweet girls.

Charity and Jadyn.

Baby Hadley

As luck would have it as soon as I got Hadley's ice cream CMM opened, so we took our snack to-go.

After CMM Airika had a doctor's appointment so Jai came over for a little while to play.

Both kiddos ended up taking a great nap and when they got up me, Airika and Jessica met at Hobby Lobby to get stuff for the boys shirts they requested for their Virology lecture on Thursday. They recruited us to make them and as I said earlier today we met to get the supplies and tomorrow the construction begins. I'll post a finished picture, I think they're going to be pretty funny.

Counting & Kindles

Today was one of those mornings where you roll over and say, "Is it really time to get up?!?" It was dark and rainy today and I wanted nothing more than to take full advantage and sleep in but my wonderful, brilliant, sweet daughter had other plans. =) CeCe was in town so I helped her with some stuff she's working on for her upcoming Holy Land Tour, FUN!!! Then we headed to lunch at Wild Fork, where I got the Roasted Chicken Salad and it was amazing. We walked around Utica Square for a little while after eating mainly just following Hadley as she discovered every puddle worth jumping in.
Good to go in her stylin' rain coat.

When we got home Andrew was there, so we all hung out for a while before CeCe had to leave. In the midst of hanging out Hadley showed off her counting skills, she can count to 10 all by herself!!! Sorry its sideways my other one
(the correct direction) wouldn't upload.

Oh and Andrew's birthday present came in today and me being the patient person I am gave it to him today, ha! I'm pretty sure he liked it!! Bless his heart he's been reading books on the Kindle app from his iphone's little screen. It will be much easier to see now and it will have more than 2 sentences per page.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Today I'm linking up with This Kind of Love, for What I'm Loving Wednesday!
Here's what I'm loving :

I'm loving that JBF starts this weekend!!

I'm loving that my parents are coming in this weekend and are bringing Audrey too!!

I'm loving how my sweet little girl is such a good helper around the house.

I'm loving every episode of The Biggest Loser and yes I cry EVERY episode as well.

I'm loving that my little girl is apparently not so "little" anymore seeing as though today's entertainment was climbing in and out of the pack-n-play.

I'm loving how Hadley has picked up the phrase, "Oh garsh" from Bashful (off Snow White) and says it ALL THE TIME.

I'm loving how funny Hadley thinks it is to close her eyes and pretend to snore.

I'm loving that Hadley says, "Yes sir!" to everyone regardless of their gender.

I'm loving how Jake got a bath today, HOORAY!! Judging from Hadley's face I'd say she's loving it too.

I'm loving that my mother-in-law got here safe and let Andrew and I go on a date.

I'm loving how Andrew and I were the only ones in the theater to watch Gnomeo & Juliet.
What are you loving????

(Prepare brownies as directed, 1/3 c. chocolate chips)

Making the brownie mix!

Such a great helper!!

Pour 3/4 brownie mixture into greased dish, spoon cream cheese filling over top, then spoon remaining brownie mix. Use knife or spatula to create marble. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Bake at 350* for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Hadley loves spelling her name so today we cut out the brownies in her name.
