Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young...

As much as I love dressing Hadley in cute outfits I occasionally feel like Hadley should have free reign in what she wears.  Since MDO starts next week, and I'll probably be picking out all of her outfits, I'm letting her use these last few days to practice her "free reign."
Today's outfit:
Not too bad.

Post Shot Shout-Out:
I mentioned to you about the weight I gained while taking the lupron shots.  Well, after stepping on the scale this morning, I am proud to announce that since my last shot I have lost 8 lbs!!
*******

Hadley and I picked up some stuff to give her teacher at open house Thursday afternoon and picked up some baby stuff for a shower I have Thursday evening.

We took a lunch break and while looking for a spot we saw this parking fail.

I also got this picture of Hadley, check out the pose, ha.  I have no idea!

Outside one of the stores we saw piles of dead crickets.
WHAT IS UP WITH THE CRICKETS?!
I guess they fogged them because it smelled kind of smokey and these were all dead.

After those errands we came home and played outside.  Until I took this picture of Jake and realized he drastically needs grooming.
I called to set up an appointment but he needed his shots updated before he could come in.

Luckily you can just walk-in to get shots so we loaded up and headed to the vet.  Jake's good to go now and Hadley found a friend.  =)

When we got home, Hadley resumed her outside play and ran around like crazy.

While I got dinner ready Hadley Pumpkin Fairy was entertaining us with some dance moves.  She's really excited because we set-up a trial dance/gymnastics class for next week to see what she thinks.

After dinner Andrew and Hadley enjoyed some Oreos for dessert.

Bedtime routine is a favorite around here, Hadley and her daddy have it all set-up.  After bath time it's a short Bible story, prayers and then her memory verses.

I have to note Hadley's PJs.  Her Cece got these for her for next summer because they are a 5T.  I thought I'd try them on because they were pretty cute.... and they fit! *sigh*

Here's a snip from one of her verses.  =)

Catch Up!

First, I want to update you on Melanie. She has recently updated her blog on all the details. And I know she can explain everything much better than I could so click on her name above and it will take you to her blog. Please continue to keep Melanie, Jacob and the babies, Griffin and Bailey in your prayers!!!! Even after she gets home it will be a big adjustment.

I feel horrible that I have not been doing very well on my blog for the past couple weeks. This week I have to be honest I'm still regaining the energy I lost from having 2 toddlers for 4 days, ha! Anyway, Hadley and I took Audrey back this past weekend and hung out since Andrew had a big neuro test this week.

Saturday afternoon dad grilled some delicious chicken and Audrey sat by him with this stick and seriously stared at it for a good 10-15 minutes, while tapping her foot. (Not sure if she was waiting for it to do something or just had a song in her head.)
I turned around to take an equally cute picture of Hadley and this is what she gave me, the stink eye!!
Saturday night my parents watched the girls while we went out with a group of friends for my bestie, Kristin's birthday! We had Bonefish Grill and it was amazing!! (Tilapia with a mango salsa is sounding really good right now.)

Sunday, dad made brisket (YUM) and the Hadster and I headed home.

Monday was my dumb doctor's appointment. If you're looking for a PCP in the Tulsa area DO NOT go to Dr. Ruth Miller. Although her website is appealing she is not in real life. I know that may sound hateful but I've never felt more humiliated at the doctor before and that's not ok. On another note if you know of any good PCPs in the Tulsa area, send them this way. =)
Tuesday, we made our Wal-Mart run and headed home for some backyard playtime! Hadley seriously walked her (dead) flowers back and forth from her play house like 10 times.

When daddy got home we had a picnic for dinner while mommy mowed the grass. (Before you think ill of my husband for having me mow the grass, I actually love it and prefer to do it.)

Today, we had baby Hadley over for a playdate and went to lunch at Merritt's Bakery down the road.

Sweet baby Hadley, shortly before Jake joined her on the blanket.

Tonight's Dinner:
Spaghetti Squash with a Tomato Meat (Turkey) Sauce

After church we went to Cherry Berry with some friends for some frozen yogurt. When we got home Andrew taped this sweet video of our little girl spelling her name.
(Its kinda hard to hear in the beginning so you may need to turn it up. You can also press pause on my music to hear it better too.)

Weekend Update

This weekend was amazing! I think a lot of it had to do with the fact I knew Andrew didn't have to go back to school Monday, hooray spring break!!! We spent the weekend in Rogers, starting on Friday to have a celebratory dinner for both Jolene and Andrew's birthdays. (Andrew: 8th, Jolene: 15th) We had a family dinner at Carraba's and then headed back to Jolene and Ryan's for cake.

The girls wanted to sleep together, so we gave it a shot.
(It lasted about 30 minutes.)
Audrey demonstrating how she's going to sleep after we all leave.
After the girls went to sleep all us big kids hung out, while waiting for Ryan's sister and brother-in-law to get into town.

SATURDAY
We all went to Audrey's soccer game. Watching 2 & 3 y/o play soccer is absolutely HILARIOUS! Audrey ran over every couple seconds to say hi to Hadley and get some more juice and snacks.

Walkin to the car after the game. Some pretty cute girls, the one's in the middle for sure!
After the game we met Mimi & Pap-pa at Chick-fil-A for lunch and then headed back to their house.

This is Hadley's favorite chair. It sings when you sit in it and Hadley really feels like a princess.
After nap Hadley helped Pap-pa put together the new big girl bed!!
Later we met Audrey downtown to take a few pictures. My mom has an awesome camera and I love to play with it on occasion especially since I needed to get some pictures for Hadley's b-day invites. I put some favorites at the end of the post so keep reading. =)

After dinner we also went to Cold Stone with my brother and OH was it good. I got The Pie Who Loved Me, which is cheesecake ice cream, oreos, hot fudge, and graham crust.... "OH MY GOODNESS!" Needless to say everybody kept wanting bites of mine.

Saturday night Hadley slept in the big girl bed. We were a little worried but she slept awesome and never got out!

SUNDAY
Today was Flagstone's Adoption Sunday and it couldn't have gone better. They had 4 different organizations there and they were all extremely helpful and informative. I pretty much cried the entire service especially when they showed this incredibly sad, but totally true video.

The rest of the afternoon we hung out and then met our friends Mike and Kristin, for yes.... more ice cream at Andy's Frozen Custard. (We shared this time.)
Hadley and Jake both got sample cones.

MONDAY
Today was pretty uneventful. My wonderful husband cleaned today!!! I mean seriously cleaned: swept, mopped, vacuumed, laundry! We also got to make our Wal-Mart run together today it was kinda fun! Hadley found a comfy spot on the diapers to people watch.

Some of my favs from Saturday.

Weekend Update {I hope you like pics}

What a weekend!! Andrew was pretty busy with school stuff because he has 2 tests this week but he was able to spend a little time with the fam while they were in town.

FRIDAY
My parents came in town with Audrey around 9:00 Friday night. Hadley's normal bedtime is around 8:00, but she was so excited about seeing Audrey we let her stay up. They had so much fun and actually ended up being up till almost 11.

Late night tea party!
Dance party with Hadley's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse bike.

SATURDAY
We got up early enough for Andrew to eat breakfast with us at Tally's and boy was it worth it. The girls shared pancakes, mom and I got french toast and Andrew and dad both got omelets. After breakfast Andrew headed to school and the rest of us hung out at the house.

Couch JumpJump
After nap we got the girls ready for dinner, where we were meeting Jolene and Ryan so they could pick up Audrey.

Pretty cute, huh?!

Hadley crying . . . Audrey smiling

Poor, Audrey. . . I mean Princess Aurora she was so sad.
(Audrey crying on the floor like Princess Aurora when she found out she couldn't be with Prince Phillip.)

Hadley/Fairy Godmother helping Cinderella/Audrey.

SUNDAY
We made it to early service Sunday, which is rare in this house, but it makes for a long day which is nice. After church and lunch mom and I braved the JBF sale and got some cute things.

Before heading out on our adventure.
Mom and dad left shortly after JBF and we just hung out for the rest of the day watching, you guessed it, the OSCARS!!!

MONDAY
Today I met a couple girlfriends at JBF, yes again, because they were supposed to be bringing out some new stuff. I found a couple outfits, but really spent most of my time running around after Hadley.

The compilation of today and yesterday's purchases.
Some cutesy dresses.
And a SIT -n- SPIN!!

After JBF we met our play group for a fun time at Color Me Mine. Unfortunately when we got there they were running behind and weren't open yet. But then we realized maybe "unfortunate" wasn't the right word because there was in fact a Marble Slab that was open. While we patiently waited for CMM to open we munched on some yummy ice cream.

Apryl and her sweet girls.

Charity and Jadyn.

Baby Hadley

As luck would have it as soon as I got Hadley's ice cream CMM opened, so we took our snack to-go.

After CMM Airika had a doctor's appointment so Jai came over for a little while to play.

Both kiddos ended up taking a great nap and when they got up me, Airika and Jessica met at Hobby Lobby to get stuff for the boys shirts they requested for their Virology lecture on Thursday. They recruited us to make them and as I said earlier today we met to get the supplies and tomorrow the construction begins. I'll post a finished picture, I think they're going to be pretty funny.
