It's been a few weeks since I've done this, but here are my favorites from the week!

My Favorite Project:

Hadley's Halloween Costume

Favorite Techie Thing:

Blogspot has this cool new feature.  If you click on a picture from a blog post it pulls up all the pictures from that post, enlarges them and puts them into a slideshow.  I tried other blogs (wordpress or websites) but it only did it for blogspot.

Favorite Picture and Event:

Even though the Hadster isn't smiling I still love this picture and I'm so glad we got to go up and have lunch with Andrew one day this week.

My Favorite Hadley Moments:

1- I love that Hadley has the characters in her hands in this picture because they have been with her ALL week.  Her left hand is Strawberry Shortcake, or "Strawberry Ortcake." And the other hand is one of her friends who has something to do with chocolate, but I didn't know her name.  Hadley just calls her "Strawberry Ortcake Friend."

2- I'm getting Hadley to smile for pictures right now by coaxing her with Candy Corn, ha.

3- Today while at "Chick-A-Flick" Hadley was playing and I told her to do something, she responded in a sigh with, "Yes, mother."  Oh my word, when did she turn 15?!?!?

4- Hadley has almost completely memorized the Lord's Prayer.  The video is on my facebook page but unfortunately I can't get it to upload onto the blog.  =(

Favorite New Experiences:

Library Story Time

I know its probably horrible that this was the first time I have brought Hadley to the library, but I think its going to start being a weekly thing, we LOVED it!

Farmer's Market

I've been before but this was Hadley's first experience.  I think this will also be a regular event while they are open.

Pumpkin Latte!!!  Yes, please!

While eating out with my parents Hadley was trying to get some ham off her fingers and ended up throwing it across the table at me. Everyone laughed (Hadley noticed) then proceeded to grab the ham that was in her mouth and throw it at me. Well needless to say she got in trouble for that one. Audrey laughed and we told her it wasn't funny to throw our food. A few seconds later Hadley taps my dad on the shoulder and says,

"Pap-pa, that's not funny. Its not funny Pap-pa."

Then very seriously looks at me and repeats,

"Mommy, that is not funny. Its not funny mommy."

While shaking her head.

When identifying everything in the room, Hadley pointed at the bottle below and said,

"Its poo-poo mommy!"

You gotta give her some credit it kinda does resemble. . . that.

While playing with the doll below I asked what she was playing with. She took the doll pointed him at me and said, "This." I asked if "This" had a name. She looked very intently at him then back at me and said,

"Jackson,"

with a nod.

(Funny thing is I don't think she really knows any Jacksons. So where she came up with this name, who knows.)

One day last week Hadley was in her playroom and walked out with her Fisher Price doctor set and says,

"Mommy, I Daddy."

LOVE!!

Last week at Big Splash Hadley would make it 2 steps up this slide and start crying when I asked her what was wrong she said she was scared. When I asked why she said,

"Its dirty."

The picture speaks true to her words.

After putting Hadley down for a nap last week, I poured myself a bowl of cereal and sat down to enjoy it. Hadley lately has not been getting out of her bed but instead just yelling down the hall at me. Shortly after sitting down with my cereal Hadley chimes in,

"Mommy!! Mommy!! YOU EATING CEREAL?!?!"

Seriously?!?! How does she know these things?

T.G.I.F. Favorites!

Thank Goodness Its Friday Favorites!

This week has been pretty exciting although I haven't posted much about it.

(Sorry about that.)

Here are my favorites of the week:

Favorite Event:

Girls Night Out with dinner and a movie. I had so much fun hanging out with my med school mommies before the boys head back to school.

Favorite Dinner with the Fam:

Andrew and Hadley tried out Zio's for the first time and loved it. Hadley was so funny all through dinner. She kept laughing so hard at the most random things and the little girl at the table beside us just loved it.

For dessert we went to Kupcakz and "shared" a Lemon Drop and Dirty Blonde.

Hadley pretty much owned the Lemon Drop.

Least Favorite Event but Most Favorite Picture:

We took Hadley to the Urgent Care clinic by our house because she was jumping on the bed, lost her balance, then fell and hit her head REALLY hard on the edge. It made an immediate bump. =( She turned out to be fine, despite her giant goose-egg and probably a pretty good headache, but we had to make sure.

Favorite Hadley Quotes:

So far Hadley has told me many times she likes my princess (headband), rubberband, earrings, necklace, watch, shirt and dress. Honestly I'm really enjoying this.

[Insert Name] you okay?!

Hadley repeats this after anyone sneezes, coughs or makes any noise resembling some type of distress until you tell her, "Yes I'm okay."

Favorite Event:

Andrew's parents came in for the evening on Wednesday, so we took them to Joe Momma's for some fabulous pizza. While we were waiting as well as while we were eating we would hop over to the window you see behind us and watch them toss the pizza dough. One of the guys gave Hadley her own pizza dough to toss while we watched.

So much fun!!

Favorite Snack Food:

I know it sounds weird to have lime on your popcorn but believe me when I say,

"It's so good!!"

And its good for you! =)

Milestone Favorite:

Getting a tour of where The Hadster will be going to school (aka MDO) this fall.

Thank Goodness It's Friday Favorites!

It's been a couple weeks since I've done this so I've included a few from last week.

Favorite Innovation:

A make-shift water table out of a large rubbermaid tub at CeCe & Pajee's house.

Favorite Safe-Room Moment Ever:

We were in Searcy with my in-laws when all the bad storms came through. The night they were to hit Oklahoma and NW Arkansas my sister drove down with Audrey. The next morning she went home but left Audrey to hang out with us so she didn't have to ride another 3 1/2 hours in the car.

That evening we had some storms roll in and we were issued a Tornado Warning. My in-laws were gone, Andrew was out seeing a friend and it was just me with the girls and Jake. I frantically run around grabbing every water bottle in site as well as nuts, goldfish, and both the girls juices. Threw them into the safe-room which is in our in-laws outer garage. Then I went upstairs to grab both girls (who I might add were both napping) tuck one under each arm and run trying to make sure Jake is with me back out to the safe-room. All this while panning my site for any random toys I could throw in there as well. A few minutes later Andrew gets home and brings in the computer as well as a DVD and we spent a good 30 minutes just chillin'. Needless to say it just rained and we were all fine, but I felt much better in there.

Lounging outside while Hadley plays her heart out.

Favorite Hadley Moment:

Found Hadley with an Oreo cookie face, but was worried because we didn't have any. I asked her what she was eating to which she responded, "Cookie." She then proceeded to hold up the washer and dryer unit that goes in her dollhouse. I then see an Oreo, to which she had shoved at some point into the dryer, that she is now scooping out with her finger and eating what remains.

Mother's Day!

Not only did my husband and daughter make me that beautiful flower arrangement, but I also got this wonderful outdoor furniture. I got it a little early as well that way we had seating for guests at Hadley's party.

Favorite Hadley Moment:

Hadley's doll house came with two babies and Hadley has really opened up to her mothering side. The other day she was in the living room and her babies were in the kitchen with me. She came running in yelling, "OH NO, OH NO!!" Then she cradled both babies in her hands and started bouncing them next to her face saying, "Oh no, its okay, its okay."

Disney in T-minus 6 days. (We actually leave in 4!)
