Hey guys, sorry its been so long since my last post. I think I've only posted like twice in the last several weeks, wow! Anyway I'm doing it now. Due to my blogging hiatus I will be posting several collages so you're not bombarded by millions of photos... you're welcome. =)
Over the weekend we went to Audrey's 3rd birthday. We had so much fun and there was plenty to do, there was:
BUBBLES!
JUMPING!
(which Hadley did most of the time)
SWINGING!
(Both on the swing or with a gold club.)
Easter Egg Dying!
Delicious cake to munch on after some pretty hefty burgers.
After eating there was an egg hunt too!
Audrey opened a few presents before heading home.
Andrew went to the Razorback Red/White scrimmage with my brother and brother-in-law and then we headed back to T-Town, but not before getting another round of leftover cake, yum!
Sunday, I helped host a shower at church, which turned out super cute. One of my friends made those adorable Pea-in-a-Pod cupcakes and everyone loved them!
Monday, Hadley and I made banana shaped crayons for her monkey party.
How To Do:
1- We just picked the colors we wanted (wrappers removed)
2- Broke them up
3- Placed them in a silicone baking sheet
4- Put in the oven at 300* for 5-10 minutes.
5- Chill. To speed up the chilling process I put them in the freezer, the little dish only had 2 bananas. (Maybe I should have gotten more than one.)
Monday afternoon Hadley and I also planted our first garden.
We have tomatoes (Roma & Heirlooms), bell peppers, jalapenos, and a blueberry bush.
Today was a pretty laid back day I did laundry pretty much all day (with a couple breaks for Hadley to play outside), mowed, pulled/sprayed weeds and trimmed some shrubs. I say it was laid back mainly because I never left the house, meaning I didn't have to get ready, which is pretty nice sometimes, ha!
Hadley and I found a cocoon.
RaNdOm!
Hadley has some of the best faces and here is a compilation I've put together over the last couple days.
That's pretty much it on my catch up. I did want to ask that you continue to pray for Melanie and the babies. Also, one of the girls in our SAA playgroup had family living in the Tushka area where the tornado hit so hard last week. Her family is okay, but the town has been completely ruined and they are all pretty shook up. Please pray for them as well as all the other families affected by the tornadoes last week.
Thanks for checkin' in!!
I love the crayon idea! So cute! You will LOVE your garden. I hadn't thought of planting jalepenos... adding that to our list!!!
