Friday I finished all the painting. (Not bad since I didn't start until Wednesday night after church.) The rest of the day we just relaxed waiting for Mimi and Pap-pa to come into town.
Some different views of the new paint.
I really like how it turned out.
When my dad came in he put in new light fixtures in the entry way and hallway.
And the big project, my "Pottery Barn" shelf.
I got this idea from my girlfriend, Jessica, who was inspired by Pottery Barn and got her husband to make her some. Well I helped my dad make this (well if help includes holding the board as it comes off the saw) while I was at their house last and then I brought it home to stain all by myself.
Saturday after my parents left Jolene, Ryan and Audrey came into town and we all went to the zoo while Andrew was up at school studying.
Audrey's face EVERYtime you break out a camera.

Hadley riding "Bambi." I didn't get a picture of Audrey but she rode a shark.
Waiting for the train, silly girls.
The Smith Crew
Me and Hads
I promise she really was having fun, ha!
After the zoo it was snacks and dress up, well at least for Audrey it was, Hadley on the other hand just stripped down. As you might have noticed in past posts, Hadley is rarely in clothes. As soon as we get inside she pretty much starts throwing articles of clothing left and right.
Sunday morning we ran through Panera because I was signed up for breakfast and hey everyone loves bagels, right? After church and lunch at Old School Bagel (Ha, yes bagels again) the Smiths headed home.
Monday, I don't remember much but his little incident. I was making the beds and came back in the dining room because I heard something to find Hadley with all this tape she had pulled out of the tape dispenser, really?! But again kinda funny.
Just loved this picture.
I feel like all I've been doing lately is trying to catch back up and I apologize.
Well, Hadley and I are doing our baking activity tomorrow instead of yesterday due to the fact we are hosting a playgroup on friday.
Check in to see what we're up to!
The house looks great!
