SUNDAY
These shots give me pretty bad headaches on occasion and Sunday was one of those occasions. Andrew took Hadley to church and I tried to get some rest then caught up on some laundry.
Andrew headed up to the school shortly after getting home and Hadley ended up passing out cold in her playroom. (This must have been after she ate "the apple.")
I made some sausage stir fry for dinner, yum.
MONDAY
Hadley and I went to swim lessons, our weekly Wal-Mart run and then home for some bubbles and sidewalk chalk.
I also got to catch up with a couple of my friends Ashley and Jessica on the phone, which was great because I haven't talked to either of them in a while.
TUESDAY
My sweet friend, Jessica, was celebrating her birthday. We met at Kupcakz and then had Zio's for lunch. I know it was a little backwards with dessert first but that's just what you do on your birthday.
Jessica and sweet Hadley Joy enjoying their cupcakes.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!
Since Hadley was at MDO I picked up a cupcake for her to enjoy when we got home.
*Chocolate Chip Cookies*
I made them according to the back of the Nestle Chunks package with one secret ingredient and extra chips (duh!). |
Yum!
I didn't get a picture of the finished product... I know right!
I went to one of my girlfriends house's that night for a painting party to get her house ready to put on the market and took the cookies with me. I didn't come back with many so I think they were pretty tasty. We had SO much fun. I actually had a pretty humorous picture (and video) of a couple of them breaking it down to some of the music we were blaring, but they asked very nicely for it not to be shared so I'm abiding. =)
WEDNESDAY
Today, Hadley and I met Andrew and our friends, the Relics, for lunch at Panera. When Hadley got done eating Aaron took her to get one of their Easter cookies.
(I think Hadley just found her new bestie.)
After lunch we headed over to the Health Fair that OSU-COM does for one of the elementary schools in the area. They have several different booths set up to educate the kids about medicine and they feed them.
Me and a couple of the SAA girls, Apryl and Allison, who also volunteered.
Andrew had the booth with the heart, lungs and brain. I think it was pretty popular with the kids. This booth was also cool because it had a good and bad of each organ so you can see the damage that smoking and other things can do to them.
I was in charge of making hamburger patties and the cafeteria was booming with people ready to eat.
Tonight, we had church and I taught the nursery class. I just love how excited those sweet babies get with every song you sing, God is good.
This is random, but I've had my spring decor up for a while and thought I would share some of it with y'all.
