Weekend Update!

FRIDAY
Friday morning I was folding laundry and Hadley grabbed these "Mermaid" Pj's and wanted to put them on over her current Pj's. She did it all by herself!
Just a little confused as to how many legs are to go in each hole.
Friday night my mom came into town and watched the Hadster while Andrew and I went to see WICKED!!!
The only picture I have from the night was on Andrew's phone, BOO!!! (I forgot my camera.)
The show was amazing and of course I cried, because that's just what I do. After the end of the first act when they began to turn on the lights Andrew turned and looked at me smiling saying, "That was AMAZ...What's wrong with you??? ARE YOU CRYING?!?!" He got over the fact he was sitting by 'The Crier' and really enjoyed it as well!

SATURDAY
Saturday morning we (Mom, Hadley and I) went to Affair of the Heart at the Fairgrounds. We got some really cute stuff but also got some really good ideas!! I found more mesh wrap in Easter colors so I can make an Easter wreath this year. My mom also found some Christmas mesh that she liked. After going there we ran to Hobby Lobby and got lots of goodies for making mom's wreath and some other projects.
Mom's wreath.

The Christmas tree shirt with the pants we got at Affair of the Heart, the 'JOY' shirt a girlfriend from church made. We also got some Christmas leg warmers that I forgot to take a picture of.

SUNDAY
I made this Christmas shirt for Audrey. The bow has a barrette so it can also go in her hair. Its hard to see in the picture but it says, "Santa's Helper."
Hadley's shirt is finished. I ended up going with the Merry Christmas iron-on, I thought it was cute.
Hadley's new apron from Mimi. (We didn't make it just added the words.)
I made this little shirt after we got home from small group. I was so excited about it I couldn't wait.
Overall I had a wonderful and very productive weekend, hope y'all did too!!!

Oh Christmas Tree!

So the past couple days we've been decorating for Christmas and I'm LOVING it!!! I'll post some picture of what decorations I have done so far. But I thought I'd fill you in on today's happenings.
This morning Hadley took all the pillows off the couch and used it as a JumpJump.
She also used it as a diving board to the pillows below. She had a blast!
Hadley entertaining herself in the kitchen while I emptied out the dishwasher.
I'm sorry, but she really is cute!!!!

Tonight we went to an all school Thanksgiving dinner at OSU. It was so good!!! They catered the meal, but everyone brought a homemade dessert, oh my YUM!!!!

DECORATING!!!!
Hadley found this passy and was partial for like 5 minutes.
Me and my sweet girl! Her second Christmas to decorate.

My reindeer headband saw it last Christmas decorating session, Hadley broke them the other night. They saw 4 good years!

Part of our tree.

Hadley's playroom.

Today was a fun day. I'm so glad our house is beginning to feel like a Christmas wonderland!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Its a Late Weekend Update.

FRIDAY
Andrew got home at noon and we felt like breakfast sounded good so I made omelets. It doesn't look all that awesome, but it sure did taste awesome!
It rained ALL day and I just happened to stumble upon these adorable rain boots for super cheap at Gordman's, LOVE!
I don't think I could love anything more!

Due to the rain, we both rocked the rain boots to dinner.
The fam before heading to Joe Mamma's for dinner.

SATURDAY
Of course Hadley needed to represent for Arkansas and it seems as though it paid off considering they did so well.
Hadley kept pushing her Fridge Farm song button and then going to this spot to dance and eat her snack.
Before heading to some friends to watch the OSU game.

SUNDAY
We celebrated my 26th birthday! Before going to church I got 2 wonderful cards from the hubs and my sweet girl. Then that night we went to Cheesecake Factory!!! (Andrew's also taking me to Wicked on Friday night, Whoop, Whoop!)
I think Hadley thought the rye bread was chocolate, because she grabbed it up right after they sat the bread down. Shortly after tasting it she placed it back in the bowl.
Andrew and Hadley were practicing their tongue curling before heading to bed.
Monday morning Hadley found one of her hats and put it on like this, all ganstafied!

Shakin' Bakin' Tuesday!

Today had been a pretty busy day. Hadley and I had lunch with some girlfriends at Nibbles for a belated birthday celebration, YUM!!! Then we went home for Hadley's nap. I got some more Christmas decorating done and when she got up we ran to Gordman's and then to Target. When we got home Andrew was there too. He got the tree out of the garage and we did our annual tree decorating traditions: Order a pizza, put on silly Christmas hats, watch Christmas Vacation and DECORATE the tree!!! But of course today is Tuesday so we had to bake as well!!!

Today's baking activity:
TURKEY SUGAR COOKIES!!!!
Ingredients: Frosting (Vanilla & Chocolate), Sugar Cookie dough, candy corn, chocolate chips, oh and paper or hand cookie cutter
Trace your hands.
Cut them out
Roll out dough.
Trace around hand cutout.
I did cookie cutters with the rest to save time.
Separate vanilla frosting into three bowls and color. (yellow, orange, red) * Remember red and yellow make orange in case you can't find orange food coloring.
Place frosting (including chocolate) in sandwich bags to use as piping bag.
Cut a very small hole in corner of bag.
Now DECORATE your heart out.
Hadley loved decorating hers too.
Here's our turkey family. (They got a little toasty due to me being preoccupied with decorating.)
All my turkeys in a row!!
I'll try to post the weekend update soon, sorry I'm behind.
