Catch Up!

First, I want to update you on Melanie. She has recently updated her blog on all the details. And I know she can explain everything much better than I could so click on her name above and it will take you to her blog. Please continue to keep Melanie, Jacob and the babies, Griffin and Bailey in your prayers!!!! Even after she gets home it will be a big adjustment.

I feel horrible that I have not been doing very well on my blog for the past couple weeks. This week I have to be honest I'm still regaining the energy I lost from having 2 toddlers for 4 days, ha! Anyway, Hadley and I took Audrey back this past weekend and hung out since Andrew had a big neuro test this week.

Saturday afternoon dad grilled some delicious chicken and Audrey sat by him with this stick and seriously stared at it for a good 10-15 minutes, while tapping her foot. (Not sure if she was waiting for it to do something or just had a song in her head.)
I turned around to take an equally cute picture of Hadley and this is what she gave me, the stink eye!!
Saturday night my parents watched the girls while we went out with a group of friends for my bestie, Kristin's birthday! We had Bonefish Grill and it was amazing!! (Tilapia with a mango salsa is sounding really good right now.)

Sunday, dad made brisket (YUM) and the Hadster and I headed home.

Monday was my dumb doctor's appointment. If you're looking for a PCP in the Tulsa area DO NOT go to Dr. Ruth Miller. Although her website is appealing she is not in real life. I know that may sound hateful but I've never felt more humiliated at the doctor before and that's not ok. On another note if you know of any good PCPs in the Tulsa area, send them this way. =)
Tuesday, we made our Wal-Mart run and headed home for some backyard playtime! Hadley seriously walked her (dead) flowers back and forth from her play house like 10 times.

When daddy got home we had a picnic for dinner while mommy mowed the grass. (Before you think ill of my husband for having me mow the grass, I actually love it and prefer to do it.)

Today, we had baby Hadley over for a playdate and went to lunch at Merritt's Bakery down the road.

Sweet baby Hadley, shortly before Jake joined her on the blanket.

Tonight's Dinner:
Spaghetti Squash with a Tomato Meat (Turkey) Sauce

After church we went to Cherry Berry with some friends for some frozen yogurt. When we got home Andrew taped this sweet video of our little girl spelling her name.
(Its kinda hard to hear in the beginning so you may need to turn it up. You can also press pause on my music to hear it better too.)

Thanks for checkin' in!!

PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!!

I have a dear friend, Melanie, who I have mentioned in past posts who is having twins. Last night she went into the hospital with contractions. They tried to get them under control but this morning she was dilated to a 3 and they have transferred her to a different hospital. She is not quite 26 weeks yet, so these babies need a lot more time inside their momma. Please be praying for the Fox family this week.

Audrey Time

TUESDAY
After meeting Ryan and Audrey for dinner we took Audrey home with us for the rest of the week. When the girls got home they were more than excited to get in their pj's and play for a bit.

Bible Story Time

Another story in bed.

WEDNESDAY
We met some friends at the zoo in the morning. It started off a little cool but ended up being beautiful.
Checkin' out the elephants.
Giraffe
A stop at the playground.
A ride on the carousel and train but I only got pictures on the train.

Then we headed to Chick-fil-A for lunch and to play some more.

After nap we decorated cookies. I made the cookies while they napped since we had to make it to church.

After church we had baths and then movie time with Uncle Andrew.

THURSDAY
We went to the mall first thing to redeem our Gymbucks and played for a bit while we waited in the mall play place. Then we headed to our SAA playgroup.

After that we headed to Merritt's Bakery for lunch and some other baked goodies.

After nap the girls played outside for a while.
BUBBLES!!!

When Andrew got home we did a little activity.
*Decorating*
(I'll post a picture of the final project at a later date.)

For dinner we took the girls to Chuck E Cheese. Audrey asked Andrew if he would take her the night we got her.
Audrey hit the Jackpot her first try.
Picking out their prizes.
After dinner we took them to Cherry Berry a self-serve frozen yogurt place. Andrew and I laughed so hard the girls were so entertaining.
I'm pretty exhausted and we're headed to Rogers tomorrow to take Audrey home. We had a great few days I'm going to be and I know Hadley's going to be sad to see her go. (Andrew too of course.)

Weekend Update

FRIDAY
Friday was so beautiful outside Hadley and I decided to have a picnic. She had a blast and loved that she could get up and play as soon as she was done.
Friday evening we drove to Searcy to spend the weekend with Andrew's family. Andrew's sister, Rachel, was also in town for the weekend with her little girl, Harper, so we actually had most of the group together.

SATURDAY
Hadley styling Harper's hair.
We headed to little rock to have lunch with the Eichhorn's, but before we left we made an exchange. I needed to drop off the cupcake toppers I made for Ashley and she finished Hadley's birthday outfit! Don't you love it!!! Check out her etsy site, here.

We had lunch at Milford Track and ate outside. It was so good and it was really nice that we could eat outside because it was an absolutely GORGEOUS day!! The girls all had a blast running around.

Harper had some leakage and it went through her shorts, therefore she rocked the diaper for the second half of the lunch date.

After lunch Andrew went to play golf with Josh and J.O. and Rachel and I headed back home to get the girls down. Once we got back to Searcy, we met up with Tamra and CeCe took all the kiddos while us girls went shopping. Thanks, CeCe. After shopping the boys got home and grilled burgers and we all just hung out.

Showin' off her piano skills.
Hadley loved the Mr. Potato Head glasses.

SUNDAY
Sunday morning we went to church and then headed to Granddaddy Bob and Carol's for lunch. Can I say, AMAZING?!?! We had: pork tenderloin, creamed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, green bean bundles, rolls and rum cake for dessert.

Before we got on the road we let Hadley play outside for a while, which worked out in our favor because she slept for over 2 hours on the way home.
I wish we could've had more time, but Andrew had class late on Friday and a test this morning, so you just have to make do with what you get.

MONDAY
I got a short little stomach bug last night and felt pretty puny most of the day. Around 2 I tried to muster up all my energy to go to Wal-Mart and then crashed on the couch after unloading them. For dinner we went to Tally's to eat for a friends birthday. It was her choice and I was so glad that's what she picked. I hadn't eaten all day, due to the bug, so this was my first meal. I got the chicken stir fry and it was so worth the wait.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up Audrey and she's spending the rest of the week with us. We'll be saving our baking activity till Wednesday so she can participate, I can't wait!!
