Shakin' Bakin' Tuesday!!

Strawberry Tea Cups

Ingredients:
Strawberry cake mix, cones, decorative icing tube, m&ms, shortbread cookies, gummy ring candy, strawberries
(Not pictured: butter cream icing)

Hadley putting the strawberries into the processor.

Make cake mix as directed.
(I added fresh strawberries for an extra pizazz.)

Lay out your cones in a cupcake pan or cake pan, fill 2/3 full of batter and bake at 350* for 25 to 30 minutes.

Icing:
I combined butter cream, red food dye and mashed strawberries

After baking cut the bottom off your cone.

Use decorative icing as glue and attach to cookie.

Half your gummy candy rings.

Again, use decorative icing as glue and attach to cone. Then, ice the top with strawberry icing.

I left the sprinkles and m&ms to Hadley and Andrew.

  1. So cute! I have a few cute spring ideas but I am not sure I can pull them off like you do ha! I will try for sure! Lola is going to have a "spring tea" party and my table decorations are edible... Oh boy I may not know what I am in for!
