I Didn't Know I was Pregnant!!

No...I'm not about to tell you that I'm expecting another, atleast I hope not just yet. But a few months back this show came on TLC and I was like....SERIOUSLY!!! People... your stomach gets huge, you eat like a horse, your bust increases by atleast 3 sizes, you don't have a period, and duh...the PREGNANCY TEST says, "YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!! Then I thought maybe they were just really large and didn't notice they were gaining weight or they were in denial, who knows, but these were the things I was asking/telling myself leading up to the big debut.

Finally, the time came when the show was airing and I was there with all my glory ready to point and laugh at these ridiculous women. But to my suprise they all seemed genuinely suprised. One was actually really skinny and said she never had to stop wearing her regular clothes, so there went my fat theory. Another, had her 'period' throughout her pregnancy and also took more than one pregnancy test which came back (-) everytime. I was becoming completely baffled when the big one came, one lady actually lost weight!!! These ladies were having babies in bathrooms, camp grounds, one had her baby in her neighbors living room after she collapsed in her front yard!!!

Since I've watched the show I have the constant fear that a baby is going to be popping out of me at any minute without even knowing I was pregnant to begin with. So, I know this post is extremely random but I'm posting in hopes that now someone else will join in on my "Pregnancy Paranoia." Pin It

The Inevitable

So I get home from work the other day and since I have to commute from Little Rock, of course I needed to use the restroom. I go in to find that the toilet paper (as seen here) is piled up in the floor with only a few squares that have yet to reach the mountain below. I asked Andrew what had happened and he laughed and started with, "Oh, yeah I meant to pick that up." The story was that he had brought in her activity table and some other toys to keep her occupied while he tried to get ready but he came back to this. I told him, if she's not taking a nap, "I" usually put that stuff up when I'm in the shower and getting ready
so she can't get into it. Everything in our bathroom either goes on the counter or on the toilet. I shook my head and thought, men... this could have totally been avoided?!?!

So, today I was getting ready to jump in the shower but didn't feel safe just leaving Hadley in her room, naturally. So I began my regular pick-up routine around the bathroom everything either went on the counter or on the toilet. Low and beholdthe basket I had set on the toilet with the extra toilet paper and my "other products" had been knocked onto the ground and scattered all over the floor. I think the best part about his situation was Hadley's face when I took her picture. The one with her tongue sticking out was actually the first picture I took after the incident. She seems to say, "Ha...did you actually think you were going to keep me out of your stuff?"
I did admit to Andrew that even my way of avoiding this situation ended in failure.

Cheese!!!

So, for those of you who keep up with my pictures on facebook, you know I like to take pictures of my adorable daughter. Well, apparently she has gotten very used to this life style. Recently she has gotten to where anytime you pull out a camera and say cheese she flashes her cheesiest smile. Its absolutely hilarious and I love it!! The picture of Hadley in the red & white striped pjs was right after she had bumped her head and was not amused by anything. After I had exhausted all my other lifelines I pulled out the camera and sure enough the tears stopped and that great big smile popped up, CHEESE!!!

We spent this last weekend up in Rogers for Christmas. We got the whole clan together and had Christmas at my parents house. This year was extra exciting: 1) Because Audrey was old enough to kinda get the whole presents and excitement part of it, 2) because Audrey & Hadley together were the funniest thing ever, and 3) because everyone got AWESOME gifts and we all got to enjoy them (like Jonathan's Beatles Rockband)!!!
We also indulged the girls in a trip to see Santa at the mall before we left. This picture was at my grandparents house right before we left to go see HoHo!! Of course the girls were really excited they have been working on their "Santa Smiles" for weeks.

It's Christmas Time at the Normans!!!!

So I guess I'm making a habit out of posting every 3 to 4 months, but better seldom the never! My life has been pretty exciting with raising the most ADORABLE little girl on the planet as well as working some at Arkansas Childrens and doing some craftiness on the side with my sister-in-law.

Noting the time of year of course we have put up our Christmas Tree and having been overflowing with Christmas spirit since November 27 (the day after Thanksgiving)!! Hadley has been enjoying the Christmas tree and has only attempted to eat the ornaments once...so far. (It was a stuffed bear) But I can tell she really loves this time of year!
