Since We've Been Home

When we got home instead of unpacking we played around.

*TinkerBell Plank*

Tuesday Hadley rocked one of her new outfits.  If any of you have seen How to Train Your Dragon, Hadley calls these her "Hiccup Boots."

Tuesday afternoon Hadley's gift from her cousin Harper came in so she decided to mix up the Mermaid and TinkerBell look.  I think she pulled it off nicely.

Last night for dinner we did a little mix of extra veggies from the night before.  I had roasted eggplant, zucchini, squash and onion and only used about half of each so I saved the rest and added a few other things for this yummy soup.  I'll post it to the food blog soon.

Projects:
As I said in my last post I have a lot of projects for the house this spring and a lot of cleaning out to do as well.  I love Christmas but I love that Spring (aka Spring Cleaning) comes next and sadly I really need it EVERY year.

Night Stands for Andrew and I
I'll be posting on these beauties soon.  I'm hoping to work on them tomorrow afternoon.

I have lots of painting projects to do and I can't wait to share them!!

Williams Christmas 2011

Thursday evening we arrived in Rogers and had a nice family dinner.  Then Jolene, Ryan, Jonathan, Andrew and I all went to see Sherlock Holmes.  Andrew and I loved it!!

Friday morning I headed over to Jolene and Ryan's to help get started on our Christmas Eve dinner.
I guess I should also say we did everything a day earlier since Christmas fell on a Sunday. The plan was so we could still go to church without having the issue of some little girls not wanting to leave their newly opened presents.
The girls had a blast playing/painting beforehand.

The many faces of Hadley Marie.

Some of the cooks for the day.  =)

Menu:
Fried turkey, Roasted Duck, Cranberry Chutney, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable Tarte Tatin

Aww... getting to enjoy it!

After dinner we all played games.  Hadley was sitting at the little table observing then the next minute she was passed out.  Too cute!

Everyone enjoyed games.

 Our little family.

Getting ready for our Christmas Eve tradition: Pap-pa reading Twas the Night Before Christmas, drinking glass bottle coke and enjoying some Christmas cookies.

In the zone.

HoHo left Audrey quite the loot!

"Christmas" morning Jolene made chocolate raspberry filling Ebelskivers.

Enjoying a cup of jo in a HoHo mug. Let the festivities begin!

Jonathan got me some AWESOME gloves that I can wear AND still use my iphone.  And Grandma and Pap-pa got us another great game.

Jonathan's gifts all went together for his big gift.
*Bow, Arrows,  & Finger Thingy*
(Funny enough we got him the "finger thingy" and I don't even know what it's called.)

Last but not least mom got an unexpected gift from HoHo.
Some new Tony Lamas.

The girls rockin' their new boots.

*STOCKINGS*
The girls racked up.

The rest of us didn't do too bad either.

Another GREAT Christmas down!!

Sunday we enjoyed an amazing church service and then lunch with the family.  We also did some redecorating at Mimi and Pap-pa's but that's another post, ha.  =)

Before leaving on Monday we checked out the post Christmas sales and then met up with our friends Kristin and Mike, or as Hadley would call them Uncle Mike and Aunt Kristin.  She got yet another awesome gift and was eager to try each nail polish and gloss out before putting them back into the baggy they came with.

We had a wonderful time with both of our families but are definitely glad to be back home.  We have already taken down all of our Christmas decor and I have started a list of DIY projects around the house.

Norman Christmas 2011

Well I got my days confused in my last post (but corrected them).  We spent Sunday-Thursday with Andrew's family.  When we arrived Sunday we brought a game with us and introduced it to Andrew's parents that night.
Sequence anyone?!
Monday Andrew had lunch with his brother and dad and we spent the rest of the day hanging out and doing a bit of shopping.  Tuesday I talked about in my last post and Wednesday morning we had our playdate, which I also mentioned in the past post.  Wednesday afternoon/evening however was dedicated to The Norman Christmas.

It wouldn't be complete without breakfast for dinner, aka brinner.  The boys and Tamra fixing the sausage gravy.  We also had biscuits, fruit, cheese grits, egg casserole and Cece's famous cinnamon rolls.

Cece's beautiful table set up.

Hadley's ready!

The kiddos getting anxious for gifts after eating their dinner.

Every year before opening gifts someone reads the Christmas Story out of the Bible.
It was Andrew's year.

*GIFTS*

Trey got a new bike from Cece & PJ.

Addy got a new doll and swing.  Meet Noodle, Addy's new baby.  =)  She also got an Aurora doll from Hadley but it looks as though Hadley's confiscated it.

Hadley got a Minnie doll that she can zip, tie, button, buckle and velcro.

She also got a game for her LeapPad and a new rain jacket.

Trey got some Transformers or maybe they were for Andrew.

Trey also got one of those string things. Again Andrew took over and showed Trey Jacob's Ladder.

It was a great Christmas!!

The girls took turns pushing each other on Trey's bike.

Jake pouting because I guess he expected more than treats.

Granddaddy Bob and two of his great-granddaughters.

All the kiddos with Granddaddy Bob and Carol.

*Piano Time*

Yes my husband and brother-in-law are this awesome, haha!!

Still working on Jacob's Ladder.

J.O. got it and was super pumped.

As I said earlier it was a great Christmas we are so blessed to be a part of such wonderful families.
