Bump Date: 37 Weeks

How far along:
37 weeks

Size of baby:
A Bunch of Swiss Chard

Maternity Clothes:
I can wear workout pants and some dresses & tunic tops, but the rest are maternity.
I'm rotating through a limited selection of comfortable clothes right now.

Gender:
It's a BOY!!!
Baby Boy's Name:
Oliver Gammill
Oliver- after my Great Grandmother Olive / Gammill (like camel with a 'G')- Andrew's mom's maiden name, as well as Andrew's middle name

I found this picture of me and my Great Grandmother, Oliver's namesake.

Movement:
Yes!
I don't know if it's because he's running out of room but his movements seem to be a lot more aggressive.  I know it could be worse so I'm definitely not complaining, but an extra 3 inches in my torso would be great right now.

Sleep:
In order for me to achieve the most comfortable position I have a specific purpose for every pillow in my bed. They need to be there... or else.  ;)
While I feel like I have the pillow thing perfected I still wake up several times a night. Sometimes I actually need to go to the bathroom, which makes it feel worth it, and sometimes there is really no reason.

What I miss:
Sometimes I just want to lay on my tummy. Not really gunna happen.

Cravings/Aversions:
Cravings: Raisin Bran Crunch

Other Symptoms:
1- Still pretty tired.  Hoping I can use what energy I have to get everything done before he gets here.  There's really not a whole lot left to do, thankfully!!
2- Hello heartburn. According to the old wives tale lots of heartburn means lots of hair.  That's what I'm hoping.  Also, it's a good thing I don't mind the taste of Tums.
I can honestly say it looks like he's working on some.
3- Braxton Hicks and a few real contractions every now and then.
4- Crazy dreams.  Several about nursing and c-sections!!  =/
5- NESTING!!  Lately I've been throwing out a bunch of stuff. I probably need to do a lot more cleaning out, but time is of the essence. His room is so close to being done I can't stand it!!
6- Dilating and effacing.  Not anymore than last week, but hey I'll take what I can get.

Big moment this week:

Hospital Ready:
Oliver's bag is packed and in the car.  His car seat has also been installed.
My bag is packed and is sitting by our bedroom door.

Room Coming Together:
We still have a few things left in his room but we did get the curtains hung on one wall.

Appointment today went well.  I haven't made any new progress since last week but I'm fine with that.   Oliver however has been making progress or maybe just growing.  His head is measuring 40 weeks and overall he's measuring 7 lbs. 6 oz.  I'm really hoping these aren't super accurate.

I had an appointment with the specialist yesterday and he did great then too.  We got a few pictures of him and he was just a big ball of cuteness!!!
A picture of big sis, with a similar face, shortly after delivery.

If you're thinking he looks like his daddy, you would be correct!  Yep, they're twins!

My doctor said today that if anything starts happening, there's no going back.  =)  So the 3 week countdown to my due date begins.
While I'm getting ready and anxious for him to be here it's hard to wish it all away.  I'm going to miss feeling him move around in my belly (although it's not always comfortable) and I will never get over the amazement how God created women to bring these babies from a size so small to the size of "a bunch of swiss chard."  AMAZING, God is good!!

Thanks for checkin' in!!
