Catchin' Up: Fair & More

I have completely skipped over our first week with Andrew home, so I'm going to backtrack and catch you up.

Last Saturday we went with my fam to the Tulsa State Fair.
Pony rides are a must!

Carousel!

Speed Racer

They were laughing so hard on this one.  =)

Bumper Cars!
I think everyone enjoyed this one.

Fair food this year, I was focused on 2 things.
#1- Fried Pickle Spears
#2- BBQ Parfait
I got both and was beyond satisfied!

Cotton Candy!!

Hadley was so excited about doing the jumpy thing this year.  And she was able to do a flip pretty easily this time.

Wrapping up the day with corndogs and a dance party!

Hadley has picked up some Elvis moves, that I've never seen.  Love it!!

Monday night our friends offered to watch the Hads, while Andrew and I had a date night.
Caz's Chowhouse for dinner and Cheesecake Factory for dessert!

Wednesday we got to see Oliver again and he is looking a lot like his big sister.

Park date after school on Thursday.
Starbucks treat at Barnes and Noble, while daddy checked out a study book for Step 3.

Bonus: We were there for story time!

Then... Christmas Stew for dinner!!!

As you can tell we've been thoroughly enjoying having Andrew home.  He was supposed to be leaving again today for another rotation, but due to the government shutdown and this being an Air Force rotation, his orders are on hold till further notice.
While we will keep enjoying our time with him the lack of paycheck may not be enjoyed.  =/

Weekend Update

*FRIDAY*
This was actually my 10 year reunion weekend (craziness), so we came to Rogers to make some of the homecoming festivities.

Hadley had a blast at the parade and loaded up on candy!

There was a section marked off for the class of 2003 to sit during the game, but what 4 or 5 year old would want to sit in bleachers when you could do this the whole game?

Love some Friday Night Lights!

What happens when your parents do an awful job of packing and you have no jammies?
You wear one of daddy's t-shirts!!!

*SATURDAY*
I spent the morning at a women's luncheon with my sister at her church.  It was a great morning of fellowship and a great lesson.  Thanks again Jasmine!

Buffalo Wild Wings for football and lunch, perfection!

Then to the house for more football, before heading back to Tulsa.
WOO PIG!

I know, I'm such a party pooper for not going to the actual reunion.  We had planned on doing some of the stuff but my pregnant self talked my nostalgic self out of it because I was tired and didn't want to get home super dooper late.  I really am sad I missed it.  I guess I just need to keep myself together for another 10 years for my 20th.

We listened to the Arkansas game on the way home and it was pretty disappointing.  =(
Maybe next week...

*SUNDAY*
We went to some fun festivities at church.

The Great Pumpkin Carving Party
After stuffing ourselves with homemade soups and dessert, Hadley got her face painted.
Pumpkin Carving
Bedazzling
and a few triangles for good measure.

Much fun was had, but sadly we had to get home so Hads could get to bed, as the last 2 nights have been post 10pm bedtimes... yikes!

Boot Scootin'

I'm a little behind on this one, but I just had to share the cuteness.  Hadley got some new kicks for fall.
Say hello to her new Ariats.

Bump Date: 27 Weeks

How far along:
27 weeks

Size of baby:
Head of Cauliflower
(about 14 1/2 inches)

Maternity Clothes:
I've got a few normal dresses and stretchy pants I can wear, but the rest are maternity.

Gender:
It's a BOY!!!

Baby Boy's Name:
Oliver Gammill
Oliver- after my Great Grandmother Olive / Gammill (like camel with a 'G')- Andrew's mom's maiden name, as well as Andrew's middle name

Movement:
Yes!
Little man is very active these days and I love it.  He is pretty strong and makes his punches and kicks well known.
*Favorite Bouncy Spot: my bladder
*Favorite Bounce Time: evening (5ish), bedtime.
A cool 4D video we got of him kicking today.

Sleep:
Bathroom breaks are at about 2 a night and I'm pretty much a side sleeper now.  I may wake up on partial belly, but he's sure to let me know when he's uncomfortable.
Pillow between the legs is officially a must.

What I miss:
Sometimes I just want to lay on my tummy. Not really gunna happen.

Cravings/Aversions:
Cravings: Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal (Mmmm...), Auntie Anne's Almond Pretzels with Carmel, pumpkin/squash anything, bean burritos (1st trimester craving is back)
Aversions: fish still doesn't sound good on any level, I especially don't want to smell it

Other Symptoms:
1- HELLO lip plumper!  I couldn't tell if it was just me or really something, but I asked Andrew when he got home last Friday if my lips looked more full.  He started laughing and said, "I was actually going to ask if you had been using something, because they do look bigger."
He now refers to them as Anjelina Jolie lips.
2- I've had some 1st trimester cravings and symptoms come back.  One of which is being tired.  Hopefully it will go away long enough for me to get everything ready for him.

Big moment this week:
This is my last week in my second trimester, craziness!
Also, since we were sure Andrew would miss the rest of our appointments we wanted him to get to see Oliver again.  I made an appointment at Stork Vision for us to have a 3D/4D session. I'm going to go mom crazy and post a lot of pictures now. =)

He's got some lips.
His face kills me in this one.
Little smirk.
Big yawns!
It's amazing what you can see with sound waves these days.
Little man is currently head down with his feet in my right rib cage.  Hopefully he doesn't have plans to go anywhere soon. (Although, I would be fine with him coming sooner than his sister did at 41 weeks.)

Till next time. =)
