This morning Hadley got into her stickers and put them all over her shirt. Shortly after I looked and she didn't have any stickers on her shirt and I then began to find them in different places around living room, like in between the couch cushions . Silly girl!
Happy 17th month, Hadley Marie!!!! Hadley's most recent accomplishment is being able to point out certain body parts from left to right, top to bottom: Nose, Eye, Ear, Mouth, just a smile, Teeth, Toes, Knee. She can also point out her shoulders and fingers but wouldn't do it for the camera.
Tonights dinner Penne Pizza. If you start in the bottom left hand corner and work your way around clockwise that is the order in which the steps are done. The middle being the finished product. Note: This is pretty much a made up recipe so nothing is exact and a lot of times it just consists of what I have in my pantry/fridge. I've also noted certain ingredients which can be omitted to save time. This is one of Andrew & Hadley's favorites!
1. Ingredients: 13x9" pan, 1-2 jars spaghetti sauce, green onions, whole grain penne pasta, turkey pepperoni, 2c package Italian blend cheese, *turkey sausage, *bell pepper, green onion, *1/2 purple onion, *handful of baby carrots.
1. Ingredients: 13x9" pan, 1-2 jars spaghetti sauce, green onions, whole grain penne pasta, turkey pepperoni, 2c package Italian blend cheese, *turkey sausage, *bell pepper, green onion, *1/2 purple onion, *handful of baby carrots.
*These don't have to be added if you're wanting to save time due to the fact it is a lot of extra chopping and cooking. I tend to add more vegetables because its a sneaky way to get them to eat them.
2. Chop veggies finely.
3. Brown meat and bring water to boiling for penne pasta. (Cook pasta as directed on box.)
4. Add veggies to meat cook till tender. (I also added a spoon full of minced garlic & some Cavender's seasoning.)
5. Pour veggies/meat in large bowl together: add 1 jar spaghetti sauce, some cheese, and pasta
6. Pour 1/2 pasta mix in bottom of 13x9" pan. If you are using a 2nd jar of sauce pour a small amount over mix (I like extra sauce that way the pasta doesn't come out dry.) layer cheese and pepperoni.
7. Repeat pasta/meat mix, extra sauce, then pepperoni, and top with cheese.
8. I bake at 385* for about 30m or until golden and bubbly. ENJOY!!!
Thanks for checkin' in!!
Definitely making that next week!
