July 4th {Week}

*Monday, July 1st*
We drove into Rogers that morning to meet everyone at the Rogers Aquatic Center.  We spent from 11-3:30 wearing all the kids out.

Later that night Andrew took a study break to try out the new fly zapper and to compete against Jonathan on Wii Fit.
Note: Andrew was not licking the zapper and I would not recommend anyone licking it.

*Tuesday, July 2nd*
Jolene and I took the kiddos on a hike to Tanyard Creek to see the waterfall.  The kids loved the hike, however the waterfall had dried up a bit so it wasn't as exciting as it usually is.  Regardless, the kids got to touch it and get their picture.  Then we all sat down for a little picnic lunch.

Later that night, once the children were all in bed, we went to see The Heat

*Wednesday, July 3rd*
We started the day with a trip to the theater to watch Despicable Me 2.  The kids loved it and I think the adults enjoyed it just as much.  It was a very cute movie (aside from all the "fart" humor).

Later that night my cousin Laura and her family came in from Texas and we all got together for a pot-luck style picnic in mom and dad's pavilion.  The kids were eager to finish their food so they could get back to playing.

*Priceless*

*Thursday, July 4th*
After a morning of playing we headed to lunch at Qdoba, then to Braums for dessert with Beth, Victor, Grandma and Pap-pap.  Can you tell these kiddos like ice cream?!

Let the festivities begin!

My cousin Beth and I are due just a few days apart.  Can't wait for these little babies to meet!!

Getting comfy for the big stuff.

There was much bigger and more beautiful things than this but I didn't take many pictures.

So glad my sweet cousin Laura was able to make it with her family!!!  We love having them closer.
